Charles WardGood bye, Mr. Bee. It has been a good run, but you've changed your recipe for good and the old flavor is gone. I first noticed it maybe 10 or so years ago when Leo Klein, Founder, changed the formula. That led to a nationwide negative reaction that left bags of potato chips on the shelves of grocers everywhere in WV and out of state sales plummeting. Then about a year so or ago, the government in their infinite wisdom, forced you to change another key ingredient. Then today, during my annual Christmas visit to WV, I noticed the flavor change again, the old flavor is definitely gone. I'd like tell those who think they know what is healthy for us to mind their own business, and devout more of their time to alcohol, drugs and tobacco! Mr. Bee, I know it's not your fault, but they just don't taste like they did even 2 years ago. I am so disappointed. Therefore, regrettably, I prefer to remember that unique and special taste of days gone by rather to accept just another Lay's tasting chip. This is truly a sad day. I'll miss you, Mr. Bee ... 🙁

Danny RizerHave eaten Mister Bee chips since the 50's but the one's made now taste like a Lay's chip. Might be in a Mister Bee tin but not the same recipe. Wish they would go back to the old recipe.

After a huge response last year, tins are back with a more festive color for the holidays this year! 🎄🎁

It makes a great gift for the snack lover in your life, or a perfect item to keep your own little stash.

Call or stop by our office to order. $25 each or $20 if you buy 2+. For local folks, bring your tin back for $5 refills. (Available while supplies last)

Mister Bee Potato Chips is making snacks.

By popular demand, here’s the new item that just rolled off the line today!

Find the new Salt & Vinegar chip first at convenience stores and independent grocers locally. If you can’t wait, stop by our plant - it doesn’t get any fresher than that!

Timothy N SpradlingThe original Mister Bee used to be may favorite chips for 2 reasons. Their great taste and a product that is produced in WV. Not sure if you changed the recipe, but they don't taste like they used to, and from the looks on here, most people seem to agree. Was the recipe or the process of manufacturing changed for some reason? They're not the same chip from years ago.

Keith SampsonMIster Bee you should really try to bring back the classic chips and make the new taste for those who love them. Kinda like Coke has the new coke and the classic. I know it has to do with the oil and what’s good and bad but the government mandates are killing us anyway. Please try to figure out a happy medium that way... we all win.

Gary E. SchoonoverI've just finished what may be my LAST bag of Mister Bee Barbecue Potato Chips. I had refrained from purchasing chips, for a while, hoping the seasoning blend would return to that which I had always associated with Mister Bee brand chips. If that ever occurs, someone will need to message me, because I won't be buying chips to find out if the change has occurred. While I don't look forward to life without them, I find that I can survive without them.
